I'm very proud of this artwork created for Senator Ted Cruz.
"Freedom Fighter, Constitutional Conservative, and my Senator; Ted Cruz!"
Photography taken by Char Doonan at a Ted Cruz rally in 2015. I created this piece out of love and respect for this "Freedom Fighter."
The leader of "Grassroots America We the People" and I collaborated on this project, and it has been created as a framed 20"x16" piece of artwork printed on wood and presented to Senator Cruz.
I am on "cloud nine." A piece of artwork that I created is in the possession of this great man!
I have been playing around with this photo forever, and never finding that absolute best composition for it; UNTIL NOW! This is a great example of my skills as a photographic artist and WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU.
I didn't realize the shot I captured until much later when going through the hundreds of shots taken that day at our local rodeo arena. From a distance, the determined facial expression couldn't be seen, nor the bounce in the saddle as this adorable six-year-old grabbed that horn and rode like she had years of experience. The focus was dead-on. The more I zoomed in on post processing, the more detail was seen.
"FOR THE LOVE OF RODEO!"
A composited piece of many different photos taken at the Winnsboro Rodeo in 2014. I wanted to do something to represent all of what rodeo was about, including a prayer. From rough stock to roping events, clowns, bull fighters, steer wrestlers and even rodeo clowns. This piece is for sale at Fine Art America (link available on Photography).
Changed the feel of the image by changing the white balance warmer and a tad less saturated.
Original needed a new background. See "Before and After" for more details.
Modeling competition. Composited front and back to help show off that gorgeous dress.
Loved the colors in the bronc rider and horse. Didn't like the original background.
A talent contest. She was doing a quick painting. I superimposed a picture of her on the canvas taken of her modeling and made it look like she was painting herself!
I did this years ago, after the 2nd Worldwide Photoshop Walk in Racine, Wisc.
Funny story! The happy couple was just suppose to walk to the 4-Wheeler.
THEY AD LIBBED!!! So did I and was able to capture it, then composite it.
A barrel racer bouncing out of her saddle inspired me to paint her in such detail that her face becomes the backdrop. Original photo she was so far away, her face was pretty obscure.
